Genital sufferers - what would you do in this situation?

i have HSV-2 (2 years long) i got it from a female who never told me she had it.. ive kinda coped with it until another female came into my life.. she totally came onto me and wanted to date ME but i was hesitant.. we talked for like a month. i never told her about my condition BUT i never slept with her. after about another month she stopped talkin to me prolly because i wouldnt sleep with her.. i adore her and i definatly dont want to give her the herp so was it the right thing to do to not sleep with her? i ped up a good one.. and i feel terrible.. ****
