Why do the Clovis-ice age hunter, gatherers remain a puzzle to anthropologists?
The first answer seems to have a bias toward melanin. Australians are no closer related to blacks (removed actual name of race) than are caucasions (how stupid is that that YA won't allow the technical name for a race in Anthropology, political correctness run amok and I won't use African American because they are a race not a continent). Melanin is not preserved in fossil bones. He is right though that the apparent race of the people seems to be most closely ociated with present day Ainu and polynesians. The clovis points don't seem to come from Asia. They seem to come from Europe. Some Native Americans obviously don't particularly like this for political reasons
