Could I get into Carnegie Mellon University?

I have a 3.9 gpa, top 2% of my cl, but I have struggled with SAT scores. I have a 1790 right now, but I will take the test again in the fall. I have done a great deal of work outside of my school, including a week working at NASA Langley Research center and participating at an international level in an extra-curricular activity called OM (odyssey of the mind). For some reason, I struggle with the SAT. I have taken college level calculus, and gotten a 99.5% on the final exam, but on the math portion of the SAT, I have a hard time getting p 630. Do selective colleges like cmu put so much stock in SAT that I have no chance of getting in?
