I am not sure exactly what you are asking, but I believe what he said is true. This is not lying despite what the title of the video implies. We all need to learn to use a little common sense, and when someone asks a question about a religion as he suggested, this person doesn't just want a yes or no answer. When teaching people about religion, you have to start basic. You do this for the same reason you don't jump right into Calculus, but instead start with math, then algebra. You must work your way into the tougher concepts. I hope this answers your question.
