Besides hot water and bleach how do I keep my socks, tees, and underwear from turning gray and dingy?

Take a dishwasher soap and regular laundry soap and leave in washer overnight.Not only will it make them whiter it will also get out dirty sock bottoms Use 1 diswasher packet per ea. load.I use it for my shoelaces too. Works great. Good luck.
