What happens if a real estate appraiser wants to move out of the state he is certified in?

I was interested in getting my real estate appraisal license in Illinois, to recieve certification I would have to take 3 courses and work as an apprentice for 2000 hours, After I do that what would happen if I were to move out of state, and what would happen if I were to only take the courses and not the 2000 hours and move out of state?
